The reduction of natural ecosystems leads to a decline in environmental sustainability and a deterioration of its vital qualities. Life is possible only within communities and within a specific set of conditions characterizing their habitat.
The paper examines the concept of Sustainable Development as a system of intersecting discourses. Several axes along which these discourses are formed are identified, important for understanding "what is a plus and what is a minus" for the SD concept.
